MOTIVATION (published at davidntech.com, referred to here as "the site," "we," or "us") is an independent, single-author site written and maintained by David. By using this site, you agree to the terms below. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. Who runs this site

DavidNTech / MOTIVATION is not a corporation or a media company — it's run by one person, David, as described on the About page. References to "we" throughout these terms refer to that operation, not a larger organization.

2. Use of content

All essays, the Standards Library, quote text, and site design on this site are original work owned by David unless otherwise credited. You're welcome to read, link to, and quote short excerpts (with attribution and a link back) for personal or editorial use. Reproducing full essays elsewhere without permission, or using site content to train, fine-tune, or populate another commercial product, is not permitted without asking first — reach out via the contact page.

3. Accounts and the Inner Circle

Creating an account ("Inner Circle") is optional and is handled through Firebase Authentication, using either an email/password combination or Google sign-in. You're responsible for keeping your credentials secure. We reserve the right to suspend an account used for abuse, spam, or attempts to interfere with the site's normal operation. See the Privacy Policy for details on what account data is stored.

4. The daily ritual and library tools

The Daily Ritual tracker, habit streaks, favorites, and similar interactive features are informal tools meant to support a personal discipline practice. They are not a substitute for professional coaching, medical, psychological, or financial advice. Streak data and favorites saved without an account are stored only in your browser's local storage and can be lost if you clear your browser data — we're not able to recover it, since we never had a copy of it.

5. Disclaimers

The essays, tools, and materials on this site are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, about the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any feature for a particular purpose, including the habit/streak tracker, the quote library, or any essay content. Essays reflect one person's opinions and experience, not universal or professionally verified advice.

6. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, David and DavidNTech are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site or its tools, including any loss of locally stored data.

7. Advertising

This site displays advertising served through Google AdSense, which may use cookies and similar technologies as described in our Privacy Policy. Ad placement does not influence the content or opinions expressed in any essay.

8. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated occasionally as the site changes. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
